Fall Fun Cooking Series

Dates: 10/14, 11/4, 12/9/24

Time: 4:15-5:15pm

Location: First Congregational Church (Tienken/Rochester Rd)

Join us for a 3-class cooking adventure designed for kids ages 6-16! In this fun and hands-on series, you’ll explore the joy of baking while learning to express yourself in the kitchen.

From decorating colorful (dye-free!) cookies to mastering gluten-free pies and dairy-free cream puffs, every class encourages curiosity, confidence, and creativity.

With delicious results and exciting challenges, you’ll discover the courage to try new recipes and the confidence to make them your own.

No experience needed—just bring your imagination and love for cooking!

🎃 October class, 10/14/24, will be decorating pumpkin cookies. You will be happy to know that the sugar in the sugar cookie is cut in half to make sure our little ones are not consuming too much sugar!

🥧 November, 11/4/24, we will make a pie and yes, the pie crust will be made from scratch, and entirely GF. (We will use butter in the crust unless an allergy requires us to use Coconut oil). This "Zapple Pie" will surprise you as we reduced the sugar in this, too.

🍮 December class, 12/9/24, will be GF cream puffs and DF chocolate sauce. We will have a variety of ice cream, including dairy-free, to serve with their cream puffs.

🎨 Every class with Freedom Kitchen is dye-free! The kids will learn the difference between superfood-coloring and numbered dyes.

Limited to 10 spots per class.

Every child gets the 3 classes fully recorded, to cook at home; therefore, there are no refunds for missed classes.
