Sometimes it's better to have a "teacher" - or someone other than you - to teach your child something new. In my program, I enroll the kids in the process, give them choices and options, and they want to learn more. Cooking needs to be fun, creative, and relaxed. I have watched "picky eaters" try new things and kids excited to go home and make zucchini noodles. And truthfully, the confessions of many parents indicate why our kids can have such a limited palate. If possible, get them into the kitchen with me.
